BPW Harvey

About our Club

BPW Harvey is situated in the picturesque South West of Western Australia, just under 2 hours from Perth.

Education has been of particular interest and annual project, It has included volunteering with local school reading programmes and running an annual writing competition for local primary schools during Book Week. We now also included a book in all our baby bundles.

For many years, Harvey members have created baby bundles to support new mothers in the area. We believe that touching women's lives during this special time creates bonds with our organisation that we hope in return may generate support for club projects in the coming years. 

Our current Days for Girls Project has us making dignity kits for girls in third world countries.To date we have sent 30 kits to Nepal with the Medic Backpackers and 30 to Somaliland to the Edna Edan Hospital for women.

This club responds to crises in the bigger community by providing support to other communities across Australia to bushfire and flood victims plus providing recycled school materials to children in remote areas. Of late providing some bed linen for a cancer respite house in Bunbury.  

The BPW Harvey Annual Report is an inspiration to other clubs that seek to make a difference in their local communities and beyond.

The calendar is full of monthly dinner meetings with topical guest speakers on a wide range of subjects that showcase women's achievement, or that highlight special needs.
