Victoria has four active clubs across the state.  Each club provides its members with strong support, mentoring, networking and personal development though their meetings, events and projects.

Our clubs also meet together three times a year for the Victoria State Club Meetings to work together on issues important to our membership.  A bi-annual State Forum is also held, the next being 2022.  This event brings members together to network, socialize, gain skills, improve awareness of BPW’s Aims and Objective, build self-confidence and maximise the future potential of members.

Each club meets regularly, so contact your nearest club to find out what’s on in your area.

Business and Professional Women Geelong applies a professional and contemporary approach to delivering key professional and personal development opportunities for local women.

At BPW Geelong, our aim is to empower and enhance the inherent strength of women by giving them the opportunity to build networks and develop key business and professional skills. Our events showcase powerful and inspirational speakers who deliver on a wide range of topics designed to build our members knowledge and power base.

BPW Geelong was established in 1985 by our founding member, Micky Hayward, with the assistance of BPW Doutta Galla.

Our vision is to empower the women of the Geelong region in all aspects of their life, including family, work, personal interests and wider communities.

Our Student Mentoring Program is one that is unique to our Club, but widely recognised through the broader BPW community and is something all of our members should be very proud of.

BPW Geelong prides itself on delivering quality events for our members and guests, and it is my goal to continue to work with my fellow Board to provide events that engage, inspire and help us all to be the best possible version of ourselves; to create an environment where we can feel safe and supported as we learn and develop and to play our part in championing the rights of women throughout the world,

"We offer our members and friends a great way to socialise and network at our monthly dinners and lunches, so
if you are new to the region or just looking to expand your connections, we welcome you to join us at our next dinner or lunch event to enjoy the company of a friendly and dynamic group of professional women."

South West

Business and Professional Women (BPW) South West is a great way for local women to meet, network and socialise.  Members represent a very wide range of local businesses, and membership is open to all women in the region.

BPW South West was chartered in 1996 and is based in the regional city of Warrnambool in South West Victoria with membership made up of women from Warrnambool and the surrounding region.

The group has a strong focus on professional and personal development, and each month vibrant guest speakers present on business topics of interest over a three-course dinner.

The group’s activities provide great opportunities for members to showcase their business services to other members and guests, increasing local exposure.  Members also enjoy a variety of the best food Warrnambool has to offer, with dinners held at a different venue each month.

There is also a strong social element to the group and many members have formed ongoing friendships around common interests.

The group produces a stimulating monthly newsletter featuring member business profiles, links on women in the news, and updates on services available to small businesses in the region.

"My members tell me that they particularly enjoy the friendly welcoming atmosphere of the group and the opportunity to meet a variety of other women of different ages and backgrounds. I am constantly amazed by the variety and quality of the guest speakers we enjoy at each meeting, with presentation topics ranging from serious and thought provoking to fun and entertaining, there is always something new to learn and enjoy.

I am extremely proud to be a member of this important group for women in my local community and the wider organisation of BPW International."
