Women in Queensland have been members of BPW for many decades enjoying activities together and contributing to the chief goal of equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life.  Many initiatives in the fields of education, training and entrepreneurship stemmed from the various club activities through the State.

Today BPW Queensland has three active clubs, BPW Caboolture, BPW North Lakes and BPW Brisbane Southside.

Members meet regularly for informative dinner meetings, workshops and seminars and enjoy travelling to national and international BPW conferences to meet like-minded women and further international understanding.

Take the next step and come and join us!

BPW QLD is committed to equal opportunities in work, business, leadership and society - non-partisan, non-denominational and part of the national BPW Australia group and the world wide international organisation in more than one hundred countries worldwide, BPW International.

Together we are committed to

  • more women in managerial positions in all areas
  • equal wages for women and men
  • better work-life balance
  • better financial security for all women

The BPW members in Queensland are represented on the BPW Australia Board by State Representative, Trish Springsteen.

Trish has been a member of BPW for 8 years and is looking forward to working with the Queensland clubs to encourage membership, personal growth, advocacy and networking. Trish is a member of BPW Caboolture and loves the opportunities that BPW offers to connect with like minded women.

BPW Caboolture is renowned for its hospitality.

We meet for Breakfast on the first Friday of each monthto share knowledge and foster great opportunities for our personal and professional lives.

At each meeting we are treated to great speakers who are specifically engaged to inspire and enlighten us with either business acumen, personal growth or happenings in our local business region and we always find time to connect with each other.

BPW offers a personal and professional development opportunity for women to increase their confidence and standing in the workplace and in the community. We advocate for gender equity - locally, nationally and globally.

At BPW Caboolture we have a professional group of diverse and passionate women supporting each other and volunteering their time and energy to our amazing club.

Brisbane Southside

BPW Brisbane Southside is quite unique and is a growing networking group for women in business in the Brisbane, Redlands, Logan, Gold Coast and Southern regions. It is a dynamic group with women who have international representation at the United Nations through to local women, who are just starting out in business. We attract women from all professions.

We find that this club is different from other groups as we all band together to support, learn and grow from each other. Each month we have a guest speaker and a showcase local businesses. We share women's issues from a local, national and international perspective.

Having chartered in early 2020, we have culture that is dynamic and promote women's equality at all levels.  We purposefully run each meet up, every first Thursday of the month, in the evening. We invite all guests to join us from dinner at 5.30pm. The meeting officially commences at 6.30pm. We have arranged our meeting place to be located with deliberate easy access off the Gold Coast Highway at Fitzy’s Function Centre. Parking is plentiful and accessibility perfect.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events. Everyone welcome. Why not come along, it makes perfect sense to try before you buy so we don’t pressure anyone to become a member. We keep costs down too, to be affordable for all women. We hope we will see you at our next event.
