BPW Adelaide | Refer to the BPW Adelaide club page for more information BPW Adelaide advocates for women's rights, safety and economic security and develops leadership through building women's competence, capacity and confidence in their personal and professional arenas. Members support action for women's equality at work, on boards and in the economy. BPW Adelaide holds events open to non-members, with expert speakers on topics relevant to modern working women. Our members are drawn from a range of backgrounds including business, professions, trades, government and non-profits. Many members have leadership experience within BPW and on public and community boards. | Our Alliances BPW in South Australia works with other women’s groups including Embolden, the National Council of Women SA, Soroptimist International, Zonta and Women on Boards on advocacy where we hold shared values. We advocate for gender pay equity and better access to housing for women, and lobby for the decriminalisation of sex work in SA and better access to abortion. We participate in Pay Our Respects, the National DV Vigil held 1st Wednesday in May, and the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast held annually in November, amongst other DFV initiatives. |

Although there is currently only one club in South Australia in Adelaide, BPW Australia is keen to expand BPW across the State with clubs in other locations.
