Topic: Customer Centricity

Mel is not just the Customer Centric Coach, she also has an award winning Pod-cast called 'The Customer-Centric Show', where she interviews some amazing thought leaders on how they have grown their businesses by putting their customer's first.  Mel shares her 7-steps to a happy customer and will also present how successful businesses are focusing on Customer Centricity. She'll also share and explain Customer Journey mapping - it will be an amazing morning about putting our customer's first!

You'll Learn:

  • The 7 Steps to Happy Customers & A Delighted Business Owner
  • What A Customer-Centric Approach Includes (only 1% of it is Customer Service)
  • Customer Journey Mapping Explained - attendees will learn how to identify points of weakness in their customers/clients path in the sales process.

Mel Shares her story about Who she is:

Having owned and operated my own business in inner-city Brisbane, I learned early on that having great products and customer service is not always enough to ensure a successful business.

What DOES is creating an exceptional overall experience that ensures customers return and tell everyone else about it too! This comes from more than just great customer service. If it infiltrates every component of a business, considering the customer every step of the way. It is what brings happiness to all sides - business owners, staff and customers alike.

As an educator for 15 years I've seen, firsthand, the value in facilitating others' learning. Rather than only telling people how and what to do, provide them all the information they need, share best practices from people who know how it's done and then make it available to as many people as possible.

This is what led me to develop the podcast 'The Customer-Centric Show', available for download on iTunes & Stitcher. On the show I interview successful business owners and specialists from around the world about how they grow their businesses by thinking about their customers first.

In the first 55 episodes, I've interviewed people like investor Steve Baxter from TV's Shark Tank Australia, Direct Deals & NORA founder Paul Greenberg, No.1 Small Business Author Andrew Griffiths and many more about what they do in their business to keep their existing client base, get new customers, increase profits and give themselves some freedom too.
