BPW ConferenceBeing a BPW member means joining with other club members for events, campaigns and personal development opportunities; but BPW offers opportunities to engage nationally and internationally as well. BPW members may come together at a state or territory conference to network, share ideas, learn from workshops and presentations and motivate each other. BPW Australia holds a National Conference every 3 years where we elect our Board Members, debate resolutions and decide policy directions, and hear from inspiring speakers. In the intervening years, we hold Summits to encourage our members to discuss a theme and catch up with what’s happening in BPW. BPW International holds an International Congress every 3 years, rotated around the 5 regions where members from up to 100 countries meet to make decisions together, learn from each other and forge lasting bonds across the globe. You can be part of an enthusiastic contingent of BPW Australia members, experience business meetings run under UN rules of debate and attend workshops and seminars run by expert members and world-renown authorities. In the intervening years, we hold Regional Conferences – ours is the BPW Asia Pacific Regional Conference – where members from Japan to New Zealand and from Pakistan to Thailand gather to build and maintain relationships and share experiences. These conferences are rotated through a triennial cycle, so you can meet members from other local clubs, nationally and internationally every 3 years. Many of our members have formed deep friendships and professional relationships across the country and the world through attendance at our conferences. |
